What are the jewellery and keepsakes made of and how do I clean them?
Silver Momentos' pendants, chains, earrings, rings, bracelets and charms are made using only quality sterling silver. Products over time and with frequent wear will tarnish due to oxidisation, chemicals, moisture etc. To clean, please use quality sterling silver cleaning cloths.
How is the stamping embossed into the jewellery and keepsakes?
Each letter is individually stamped by hand using a metal stamp and brass hammer. As such, there maybe some variation in the letter placements, be it depth, spacing or angle of the letters. These are not machine, precision engraved pieces, so please consider this aspect carefully. This makes each piece totally unique and always one of a kind.
Can both sides of the jewellery and keepsakes be stamped?
We prefer to only stamp on one side to avoid any indentation on the reverse side. However, depending on the thickness of the piece we may be able to consider stamping on both sides. Please don't hesitate to contact us to discuss your request and chosen piece.
What fonts are available?
We have detailed in each piece's description, the font/s and upper/lower case types most suited to each piece based on the product design, size and thickness. We will be adding to our fonts over time.
How much do the sterling silver pieces of jewellery and keepsakes cost?
We have labelled in each piece's description, the price. However, please note that due to varying metal prices, prices of items are subject to change.
Can I just purchase a charm?
Charms available are priced to be enhancements to chosen items of jewellery and keepsakes only. They are not available to be purchased as stand alone items.
Will my jewellery and keepsakes purchase arrive in a gift box / gift bag?
Depending on your chosen item, all Silver Momentos' jewellery and keepsakes will arrive in either a beautiful silver gift box or an organza or silver drawstring bag - whether it be for yourself or for you to give as a gift. Items will be sent enclosed in a bubble wrap envelope.
How do I place my order?
All orders can be made through our online store. You simply add your choice to your cart - depending on your purchase, there will be the options to choose your font, format, letterstyle and to type in the provided box, what words/names you would like stamped. Last of all, make your payment through the secure online facility.
What are my payment options?
Payment is easy, simple and secure using Paypal. If you do not have an existing Paypal account, you can pay with a debit or credit card using Paypal. Please note - payment is required to clear before we commence work making your unique silver momento.
How much is postage?
We currently only accept orders within Australia. Postage and handling is a flat rate of $8.95 (no postage costs for orders placed over $250). Items will be sent enclosed in a bubble wrap envelope. Please note - Silver Momentos is not responsible for any loss or damage to items during transit.

How long will it be before I receive my item?
Our anticipated turnaround time is 3 - 5 days (this does not include postage time to you), however during our busy times such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Christmas, you are best to place your orders early so that we can send your chosen item in good time. We do not like to disappoint, so please consider in advance when you need your item by taking into account the time for processing, stamping time and postage.
What is your Refund Policy?
Silver Momentos prides itself on providing quality personalised hand stamped jewellery. As each item is unique and personalised, we are unable to provide refunds. However, if we have made an error, please simply return the item. Upon receipt and proof of purchase, we will refund your postage and replace your item as a matter of urgency.
As we consider quality to be of the utmost importance, please take great care in detailing your instructions, word selection and spelling at the time of your order. If anything is in doubt, we will try to verify with you prior to producing your item. Silver Momentos reserves the right to be the judge of our own quality.
What are some occasions that something from the Silver Momentos collection would be ideal for?
Our sterling silver jewellery and keepsakes make a lovely gift idea for celebrating special occasions or perhaps as a present to say thank you.
